Inflatables are often called bouncy castles but the name covers all sorts of inflatable slides, obstacle courses and other fun activities as well as the traditional bouncy castles. The thing that these inflatables all have in common is that you can bounce on them. An open air inflatable attraction is a place with lots of inflatables in one place, in the fresh air and designed as a fun trip out.
This will be different for every inflatable but numbers are clearly stated and managed.
For most of the inflatables, Yes but only 3 years and under on the toddler ones.
No – we provide everything you will need. Just usually best to wear socks!
No safety equipment will be required for you to bounce.
Every booking has to be accompanied by an adult (16+) who is then responsible for their party.
Each inflatable has its own pegs and straps for security.
There is no age restriction other than in the toddler area (3 years and younger); it is all down to parental consent.
Ages 4+ to bounce will cost £12.50, 0 – 12 months will be free, 1 year – 3 years will be £9.95. This is for 2 hours of bouncing.
No – bouncers are recommended to wear socks or to bounce in bare feet. No shoes are allowed on the inflatables.
Yes, each inflatable will have its own height restriction which will be clearly indicated. Most children should be able to bounce on the full size inflatables.
Each session is 2 hours (see Book a Session page) and we have facilities on site for food and drink as well as fairground rides. Bookings can be for more than one session on the same day if a longer bounce is the plan.
Yes, of course. We have parking for at least 100 vehicles on site and toilet facilities for our expected number of bouncers, including baby changing and accessible toilets.
We limit food and drink on site to that purchased from our caterers. However, if you or your bouncers have special dietary needs or need to bring food for a baby, please email us in advance and we’re happy to make arrangements.
Obviously outdoor inflatables are not safe for young bouncers to use when wet so your session would be cancelled with as much notice as possible. We will send you a message and QR code to enable you to rebook for a different time.
We don’t specify ratios as we realise that different ages and individuals will need different levels of supervision and parental involvement. Broadly, we’d recommend 1:1 in our toddler play area (under 4 years) and approximately 1 adult to 2 children elsewhere. We rely on parents and carers making a judgement for their own children.
We recognise that bouncing can be tiring and that accidents can happen. All our team have basic first aid training and access to a first aid supplies. We are also working with local volunteer organisations such as St John’s Ambulance for additional support to cover peak periods.
Sorry but No. The 14 different inflatables, beach play area and toddler play area are the limit of our facilities and access to all of these is included in our ticket prices. There will also be some fairground rides available at peak times and these will require separate payment.
Sorry but No. We try to make our website as clear as possible on the dates available and we limit bookings to local school holidays. Where there are differences between local authorities, we try to accommodate both sets of dates.
Sorry but No. The costs involved in inflating and staffing Open Air Bounce would make this very expensive and it is not something that we currently offer.
Sorry but NO dogs are permitted on the park.
